The above article will give insight into what dominator countries, like the United States of America, have done, still do, and will always do if the present world system does not change and take a different direction towards The Age of Cooperation and World Democracy. The Age of Domination, Conquest and Forced Compliance should be and needs to be ended by the installation of a true, authentic world-wide democracy of nations. If ALL do not agree, one nation cannot just do what it wants. True democracy means that all must do the best for all concerned on this planet. There is a saying: “If it’s not good for all, then it’s NO good at all!”
The age of slavery and domination is over, or is it?
No, it’s not!
It’s still alive in many different and varied forms. However, many just do not see or don’t want to see.
I’m afraid for what the U.S.A. may be heading for if the Ship of State is not turned sharply and directly in another direction by the American people to save it from becoming just another failed empire and, maybe, even more than that, saving it from being a corporatocracy / plutocracy which it has become, instead of the best example of a democracy it should have been by now. What happened?
We were all asleep, lulled into sleep by the current system which has planned this all until the present moment. What is the system preparing the American people for? The American people just don’t seem to get it or really understand what has happened. It hasn’t quite been understood by the American people what “WE THE PEOPLE” really means anymore and how the political “game” became rigged to give the illusion that they are voting for someone who will actually represent them but who, in reality, doesn’t give a damn about them, at all, at all, and the candidates are not concerned about the average John and Jane Doe, just the illusion of an election which is rigged, too. Too bad, because everyone is at the mall shopping, many times, for things they don’t need and eating what their body doesn’t need either. Americans have become overweight, spoiled, lethargic and ultimately controlled mentally by the media in all its forms which almost every American believes is there to tell them what is actually true and what they need to know. It’s all a rigged game. Don’t they see that? Are the American people (the majority of actual real-life Americans) even awake anymore? Don’t they know what is really going on currently and how the America we were taught, that should exist, has died and is being buried at this very moment? The American dream is only for the very top of the pyramid and no one else can participate because the middle class, the working class, have been excluded. The middle class is disappearing. The rich are there now to show what life is for them and the poor are there just to scare the hell out the rest so they will go to jobs they don’t want and earn salaries that really haven’t increased in the last 40 years. Meanwhile CEO salaries have increased exponentially, candidates are being bought, and real, decent paying jobs are not being created anymore for the American people. This is NOT the America I remember that should have been and should be.
By the way, in the richest country in the world, in the history of the world, why is poverty in the U.S. at a 15.1% ratio to the general population? Did you know, in Brazil, a third world country, the population percentage ratio of poor people is at 21.6%, a 6% population ratio difference? Isn’t that interesting? There are countries out there that have really low ratios of people in poverty. Taiwan has 1% of the population who are poor, the lowest rate. Why is that? Why can’t the greatest country in the world reduce the ratio of people in poverty? 15% is just too much for the richest country in the world. There are really so many questions to ask of our leaders but in the Presidential campaign, not very many are speaking about real issues confronting the American reality. I hope Bernie wins as he appears to be the best hope. I don’t trust Hillary because she participates in the status quo which has legalized bribery and buying off of candidates by means of Citizens United and other schemes to funnel money to pay for candidates. Some sources of the money are known. But there is also, dark money, which probably no one knows where that money is coming from. It could be coming from anywhere and I mean, anywhere. I have never seen the country in such a mess and in such dismal conditions politically. I have never felt so bad for the country since JFK, Bobby Kennedy and Martin were all assassinated and the U.S. began its downward spiral towards greed, corruption and dark, sinister types of Presidents until now where it is practically at the bottom of whatever you may want to call it. The black tar pit? Jesus! If the country doesn’t change drastically, then what? Four, eight years or more or decades of decline? And then what?
Like Bernie says, it’s time for a political revolution, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Did you see the film, Network, from 1976? Could it have foreseen what America has become?
Here is the most famous scene:
It is so prescient. However, being as mad as hell like in the scene is NOT going to resolve anything. You’ll feel good for having done it but only peaceful non-cooperation with a system that does not function will send a message, perhaps. It’s worth a try. One way which will definitely send a message is if all people should stop voting. If you’re obligated to vote in your country then vote for NOBODY or leave your vote blank. Not voting, en masse, would give the powers that be something to be concerned about.
V for Vendetta expresses the current frustration with government systems, however, this film calls for destruction of government symbols. I totally disagree that we should resort to violence. Only non-cooperation in a peaceful but in a forceful and meaningful way, for example, voting for NO ONE or leaving your ballot blank in an election could definitely send a message to the Lords and Masters if virtually everyone in a country did it.
There must be other forms of peaceful non-cooperation without breaking the law, but can anyone think of something peaceful that if the whole country followed suit would really send a message to those in power?
Thomas Jefferson speaks to us from the past.
Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves, therefore, are its only safe depositories.
Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 14, 1781
I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.
Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Charles Jarvis, September 28, 1820
In America, no other distinction between man and man had ever been known but that of persons in office exercising powers by authority of the laws, and private individuals. Among these last, the poorest laborer stood on equal ground with the wealthiest millionaire, and generally on a more favored one whenever their rights seem to jar.
Thomas Jefferson, Answers to de Meusnier Questions, 1786
The greatest good we can do our country is to heal its party divisions and make them one people.
Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Dickinson, July 23, 1801
